Eat with the seasons
We love to eat with the seasons as a way to introduce new flavors and fresh ingredients to our little sprouts' palates. Plus, if you’re shopping for produce locally, you know you’re getting the freshest, tastiest fruits and vegetables available.
Depending on which hardiness zone you are in (i.e., planting schedules), things may become available at a very different time if you are in Southern California versus Northern Maine. Generally, here is what’s typically fresh and ready to eat during these autumn months:
